The UA College of Education stands between the world of research and scholarship and the world of professional practice. We bring strong theoretical foundations and research methods to the study and improvement of education. And we work with our colleagues in professional education settings in preK-12 and higher education to ground our work in the real settings in which our knowledge is used. We take the challenges that confront our nation’s education systems as our challenges.
Through our research, instruction, and outreach, we are engaged in programs to generate new knowledge about education, teach the next generation of educators and leaders, and engage educational and community groups in improvement. We partner with colleagues across campus, in the education and business sectors, and government and nonprofit agencies to leverage resources to make a difference.

The Educational Leadership and Policy unit seeks a collaborative colleague with PK–12 school or district leadership experience to teach, mentor, and advise master’s and doctoral students in online and in-person formats. This is a full-time, career-track (non-tenure) appointment at the Assistant or Associate rank, depending on qualifications.

Assistant Professor of Practice, Disability & Psychoeducational Studies

The department seeks a career-track faculty member with expertise in clinical rehabilitation counseling and/or clinical mental health counseling to teach, supervise, and mentor students in the Rehabilitation, Mental Health and Counseling programs, spanning the B.S.E., CACREP-accredited M.A., and Ph.D. This full-time position is not tenure-eligible but is eligible for promotion.
