COE Wildcats Represent on the National Stage at Wheelchair Basketball Championships
The College of Education is proud to celebrate several of its students who are also competing as University of Arizona Adaptive Athletics student-athletes at the Wheelchair Basketball National Championships, taking place April 1st through the 4th at McKale Center.
Representing the College of Education on the national stage are Alyssa Freeman, Sam Fraser, and Madelyn Edwards (Leadership & Learning Innovation), Lily Lautenschlager (Sport & Recreation Leadership), Liz Pentecost, and Abby Coffin (Rehabilitation Studies and Services)
These student-athletes exemplify excellence in both academics and athletics, balancing rigorous College of Education programs with elite national competition.
The Women’s team enters the tournament as the defending 2026 national champions, adding to the excitement as they compete against top programs from across the country at McKale Center for the Wheelchair Basketball National Championships.
