The University of Arizona College of Education proudly celebrates Smith Endowed Chair Dr. Renae Mayes, who has been named a recipient of the prestigious S. Kent Butler Transformative Impact Award from the American Counseling Association.

Dr. Mayes was recognized alongside other leaders in the field as part of the ACA Awards for Achievement and Excellence in Professional Counseling and was celebrated at the 2026 ACA Conference & Expo.
