The University of Arizona College of Education invites the community to an inspiring evening celebrating youth voice, creativity, and environmental justice. On Monday, May 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., join us at Sunnyside High School for the unveiling of a student-created Environmental Justice Mural in the auditorium lobby.

Developed through a Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) project, the mural reflects students’ exploration of environmental justice issues and showcases their perspectives, concerns, and hopes through powerful public art. The event will feature guest speakers on environmental justice and education, along with mariachi music and food, creating a vibrant space to honor the research, creativity, and leadership of local youth.
