Arizona Literacy Road Show Comes to the University of Arizona
Join the Arizona Department of Education’s English Language Arts team for the 2026 Arizona Literacy Road Show at the University of Arizona on June 23, 2026. This full-day professional learning event offers a deeper dive into the science of reading and structured literacy, with practical strategies educators can apply immediately in their classrooms.
Designed for K–12 teachers, reading specialists, literacy coaches, interventionists, administrators, and support staff, the Road Show features an opening session focused on the who, what, how, and why of the science of reading, followed by breakout sessions that demonstrate how to use assessment and diagnostic data to implement evidence-based Tier 1 literacy instruction for all students. Participants can choose from tracks tailored to K–2, grades 3–5, secondary education, and administration.
Registration is $20 and includes instructional resources and campus parking. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
