Associate dean to help strengthen academic partnerships and collaboration between the University of Arizona and institutions across Mexico

The College of Education congratulates Dr. Iliana Reyes, associate dean, on being named a Mexico Faculty Fellow within Arizona International’s Global Partnerships and Initiatives.

Drawing on more than two decades of binational research and partnership-building, Dr. Reyes will help expand opportunities for collaboration, academic exchange and innovation between the University of Arizona and institutions across Mexico.

In her role as Mexico Faculty Fellow, Dr. Reyes will contribute her extensive experience developing cross-border partnerships to help strengthen connections between the University of Arizona and Mexican universities and organizations. Her work will support opportunities for faculty and students to engage in collaborative research, academic exchange and other initiatives that foster meaningful connections across the U.S.-Mexico border.

Dr. Reyes’ appointment recognizes her longstanding commitment to building partnerships that connect educators, researchers and institutions across borders. Her leadership will help advance Arizona International’s efforts to deepen the University of Arizona’s global engagement with Mexico while creating new opportunities for collaboration and exchange.
