Día de Los Muertos Celebration!

Day of the Dead is one of the most celebrated traditions in Mexico, in which we commemorate and invite our loved ones who have passed to join in celebrating their life.

One of the most important elements as part of this celebration is the traditional Pan de Muerto that is placed at the Altar as an offering. La Estrella Bakery has contributed to this tradition by baking the Pan de Muerto in Tucson for over 30 years.

In partnership with the Borderlands Education Center, Academic Advising and Student Services Team, and La Estrella Bakery, we will be celebrating this cultural tradition, Día de Los Muertos. There will be Pan de Muerto bread and Cafecito.

Join us and bring a picture of a deceased loved one or artifact to place at the Altar!
