Dean’s Graduate Advisory Board
The Dean’s Graduate Advisory Board (DGAB) connects graduate students with the dean to address concerns and improve their experience.
Dean’s Undergraduate Advisory Board
This Board, composed of elected undergraduate representatives, connects students with College administration to enhance the undergraduate experience.
Native SOAR
Native SOAR is a nationally recognized mentoring program rooted in Indigenous teachings, serving Indigenous students, families, and educators at no cost.
Peer Mentor
The group welcomes COE Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors to serve as Peer Mentors in the TLS 197 college success course. For details, email Jessica Lujan.
Project FOCUS
Project FOCUS offers a post-high school transition program for students aged 18-21 with intellectual or developmental disabilities, in partnership with the College of Education and Pima County public schools.
TRiO SSS Teacher Prep Program
The TRiO SSS – Teacher Prep Program, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, supports first-generation, low-income, and students with disabilities to boost graduation rates and the teacher workforce.
Undergraduate Student Ambassadors
Ambassadors represent the College at events like Arizona Experience and new student orientation, gaining leadership skills and development opportunities. This role is an honor, reflecting academic excellence, leadership, and dedication to higher education.
Undergraduate Student Council
Open to all College of Education majors and minors, this Council offers opportunities to connect, join activities, and serve as ambassadors or peer mentors. For details, email Alex Nichelson.
WordCats and MathCats
WordCats/MathCats provides students with experience in K-9 classrooms. Work-Study and paid positions may be available.
