El programa de Maestría en Enseñanza y Aprendizaje te ayuda a desarrollar y ampliar tus herramientas pedagógicas. En este programa de dos años, aprenderás la información más reciente sobre enseñanza y aprendizaje mientras te especializas en un área que se alinee con tus intereses. El programa ofrece una opción completamente a distancia con clases sincrónicas a través de Zoom.
Prepárate para un nuevo puesto en el ámbito educativo mediante un estudio avanzado de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje.
Aprende sobre y concéntrate en un área temática específica de tu elección.
Estudia los conceptos, metodologías y hallazgos de investigaciones recientes sobre la enseñanza y las prácticas escolares.
La mayoría de los egresados de este programa son maestros en escuelas e instituciones de educación no formal. Otros egresados continúan su formación y acceden a programas de doctorado.

- TLS 509: Foundations of Education for Social Justice

- TLS 570: Introduction to Education Research
- TLS 595E: Anthropology and Education
- Or other advisor-approved foundation courses
Issues of Equity and Social Justice in Teaching and Learning, Including Meeting the Needs of Diverse Learners (2 courses from the following):
- TLS 504: Language, Culture, and Society
- TLS 516: Structured English Foundations
- TLS 537: Equity in Schools and Society
- TLS 640: Social Justice and Equity as a Framework for Education
- TLS 641: Immigration and Education
- Or other advisor-approved equity and social justice courses
Capstone Experience in Teaching or Research:
- TLS 576: Action Inquiry in Classrooms and Communities
- Or other advisor-approved research methods courses
In addition to 12 credits of core coursework, students must complete coursework in their selected major focus area.

- 3.0 GPA
- Unofficial transcripts from all institutions attended
