How does a Leadership and Learning Innovation degree lead to student success? Just ask Kristy Farley, a 2015 grad and College Success Coach at Pima Online. From helping students navigate online learning to guiding them toward graduation, Kristy’s career shows the power of this impactful program.

As a graduate of the Leadership and Learning Innovation program, Kristy builds one-on-one rapport with students, helping them tackle challenges like time management, study skills, and the sense of isolation that can come with online learning. She also supports students in navigating college platforms and resources like D2L, ensuring they have the tools they need to thrive.

After graduation, Kristy began her career as a Student Services Specialist with Pima Community College’s Adult Basic Education program and later became a Transfer Admissions Counselor for ASU. By 2020, she returned to Pima as a Program Advisor for Business and IT.

“I've been working in higher education for a little over a decade now, and there is no way I would have been able to do any of it without my amazing experience/degree in Leadership and Learning Innovation.”
