
Louis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arizona, as well as a master’s degree in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Arizona’s College of Education. He believes his former experience as a University of Arizona student from the College of Education allows him to better help guide students in the college’s mission and purpose. He previously worked at Pima Community College as an enrollment advisor for nearly three years and has five years of both professional and work experience in the mental health field. He has worked in behavioral health agencies such as El Rio and Sonora Behavioral Health. He ties in both his behavioral health clinical skills as well as a social model of disability into advising practice. Some hobbies he enjoys outside of work include singing, reading, dancing, and camping.
