The Educational Leadership & Policy Ph.D. program is designed to expand the boundaries of the educational leadership and policy field with an explicit focus on inclusivity, social justice, and anti-racism. The program prepares leaders to achieve results in the nation's schools by translating theory and knowledge into practice, applying research to inform decision-making, and following ethical principles. Coursework in the program features reflection, group discussion, simulations, problem-solving, quantitative and qualitative research methods, and theory from a variety of disciplines (e.g. anthropology, sociology) as well as leadership and policy studies.
Study and address complex issues of social justice in educational leadership and policy.
Conduct rigorous research on educational leadership and policy.
Learn about educational leadership, policy, and practice through pertinent research and theory.
The program prepares students for leadership positions in educational institutions, policymaking positions at the district, state, and national levels, and faculty positions in higher education settings.

Admission Requirements
- Master's degree in education or related field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 for graduate work
