On Monday, May 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., join us at Sunnyside High School for the unveiling of a student-created Environmental Justice Mural in the auditorium lobby.

Dr. Renae Mayes Received National Transformative Impact Award
The University of Arizona College of Education proudly celebrates Smith Endowed Chair Dr. Renae Mayes, who has been named a recipient of the prestigious S. Kent Butler Transformative Impact Award from the American Counseling Association.
This national honor recognizes counseling professionals who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to advancing equity, inclusion, and access through their work. Dr. Mayes was recognized alongside other leaders in the field as part of the ACA Awards for Achievement and Excellence in Professional Counseling and was celebrated at the 2026 ACA Conference & Expo.
