Join us for the Richard Ruiz Scholar in Residence & Lecture Series, featuring Dr. Taucia González from the University of Arizona’s Department of Disability & Psychoeducational Studies. This engaging lecture will uncover the historical barriers that have limited educational opportunities for bilingual Latina/o/x high school students with disabilities. Through the lens of testimonio, cripistemology, and cultural historical activity theory, Dr. González will explore how these students navigate and reimagine their educational experiences.
