The Teaching & Learning M.A. (30 credits)
Learn the science behind teaching and learning.
In Tucson, the Borderlands aren’t a chapter in a textbook; they’re the context for how we teach and learn. Study with faculty whose research centers multilingual learners, Indigenous knowledge and equity, then bring that unique and critical perspective to your profession, your school, your community or a doctoral program.
Bring your questions. Leave ready to answer them.
Why do some students light up while others tune out? How do the books we choose shape who feels seen? This degree gives you the tools to investigate questions like these and act on what you find. Study on campus or online through live Zoom classes, and specialize in the area that matters most to you.
Choose one of seven focus areas, from children’s literature to Indigenous education, and finish with a capstone built around your own classroom or community.
The Teaching & Learning M.A. with Teacher Certification (39 credits)
