College of Education Borderlands Education Center Updates

We are excited to share the impactful work of our Mexican American Student Services at TUSD and UArizona Early Academic Outreach through the College Academy for Parents (CAP) . CAP is a FREE, 12-week college preparation program, driven by the belief that well-informed parents play a pivotal role in advocating for their child's success in college. Our comprehensive program involves engaging workshops, college-themed activities for K-6th grade students, informative campus visits, and a memorable graduation ceremony hosted by the university. It is a unique opportunity for parents to develop a tailored college plan for their children. Saturday, November 18, 2023, marked our annual graduation ceremony with Borderlands Education Center & CoE Dean's Office. Having experienced generous contributions of pan dulce for the ADELANTE College & Career Readiness Leadership Conference, we are hopeful of consideration of support.
