Grissel Bojorquez has joined us as an Academic Advisor II for the Leadership and Learning Innovation major and select COE minors. She is fluently bilingual in Spanish and English and is passionate about supporting students throughout their academic journey.
Prior to joining the College of Education, Grissel worked at Pima Community College in multiple roles, including as a TRIO Coordinator, where she supported first-generation and low-income students with college and career planning.
As a proud University of Arizona alumna, Grissel earned her bachelor’s degree in Literacy, Learning, and Leadership (L3), now known as Leadership and Learning Innovation (LLI), from the College of Education and is honored to advise students in the same program she completed. She also holds a master’s degree in Higher Education Student Affairs from Grand Canyon University.
In her free time, Grissel loves to try new hobbies and/or spend quality time with her UA Alum husband, fur baby (dog), friends, and family.
