Heather Donnel is currently part-time faculty in the Deaf Studies Program, where she teaches practicum courses.
Heather earned her Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Arizona, and her Bachelor’s in American Sign Language Interpreting from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. She has been interpreting for 26 years; all of those as a staff interpreter for the University of Arizona. Heather also interprets in the Tucson community working in legal, medical and mental health settings. She is the Lead Interpreter for the University’s Disability Resource Center.
