
Lindsay Balles
Dr. Lindsay Balles is an accomplished school psychologist, educator, and program leader with over a decade of experience in the field. As an Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Arizona’s Chandler campus, she plays an integral role in the School Psychology Ed.S. program, teaching graduate coursework, mentoring students, coordinating field placements, and supporting recruitment, admissions, and portfolio reviews.
Dr. Balles is known for her commitment to student success and professional preparation, with a focus on culturally responsive assessment and hands-on training. Her leadership extends beyond the classroom through key service roles, including her work as Field Placement Coordinator and active involvement with the Arizona Association of School Psychologists, where she currently serves as both Research Chair and Sponsorship Chair.
Her applied scholarship centers on cognitive assessment, evidence-based intervention, and academic and behavioral support for diverse student populations. Through teaching, service, and statewide collaboration, Dr. Balles continues to contribute meaningfully to the development of future school psychologists across Arizona.
