Sport and Recreation Leadership, Graduate Minor
The graduate minor in Sport and Recreation Leadership (SRL) allows students with related academic and professional interests to choose courses that focus on issues of equity and justice in sport and recreation, policy analysis and implementation, coaching, administrative functions related to human resources, finance, and marketing, as well as general best practices in the field. SRL faculty have extensive practical experience in athletics, recreation, adapted sport, and physical education.
Special Education, Graduate Minor
Students enrolled in a University of Arizona Ph.D. program other than Special Education are eligible to select Special Education as their minor.
School Psychology, Graduate Minor
Students who are enrolled in a University of Arizona Ph.D. program other than School Psychology are eligible to select School Psychology as their minor.
Higher Education, Graduate Minor
The higher education minor is ideal for individuals interested in the study of student access, experience, and success, higher education leadership and policy, and/or faculty and staff careers. It consists of 9 hours (or three classes) and is available to any degree-seeking graduate student at the University of Arizona.
Educational Psychology, Graduate Minor
A minor in Educational Psychology allows doctoral students to specialize in areas related to the psychology of education. Specializations include, but are not limited to quantitative statistical methods, learning theories, research design methodology, human development, program evaluation, and assessment and measurement. Students may be majoring in any area including Educational Psychology.
Counselor Education and Supervision, Graduate Minor
The Counselor Education and Supervision (CES) minor is designed to introduce students to the complexities of multiple or co-occurring disabilities, including the co-occurrence of mental and physical disorders in the same person. With an emphasis on resilience and well-being, the minor is grounded in holistic, integrative, and trauma-informed care with awareness of social determinants of health as nonmedical factors that influence health outcomes.
Educational Leadership, Graduate Minor
The Educational Leadership Minor (ELDMING) provides students a deeper understanding of educational policy and the tools with which to analyze it. This minor is for doctoral students within and outside of the Educational Leadership and Policy Doctorate of Education program.
